- Process local and cross-country flight clearances
- Check accuracy of flight plans
- Coordinate flight plans
- Maintain flight logs on incoming and outgoing flights
- Alert crash crews of emergencies
- Safeguard classified materials
- Interpret and post weather reports
- Maintain individual flight records and functional files
